The SNS REAAL Water Fund focuses its investments via Microfinance Institutions. In this regard the fund also will engage availability of appropriate micro credits for water and sanitation, with affordable conditions.

The aims of the SNS REAAL Water Fund are linked to one of the eight millennium goals of the United Nations: Halve, by 2015, the proportion of people without sustainable access to safe drinking water and basic sanitation. The investment goals are worldwide in projects that are related to water purification, irrigation, drink water, sanitation and related energy.
