SNS Asset Management is a responsible asset manager. We offer products with added value for institutional investors. A good example of this added value is the SNS Institutional Microfinance Fund which was introduced in 2007.

SNS Asset Management manages the assets of a range of institutional investors. These include pension funds, insurers, banks, social organisations, foundations, charities and religious institutions. We also manage SNS REAAL's considerable portfolios. In total SNS Asset Management manages assets amounting to almost 28,8 billion Euros (as of 31-12-2009). This management is based on a number of fundamental principles. In addition, we manage over a quarter of our assts based on additional social, ethical and environmental conditions.

SNS Asset Management was founded in 1997 following a merger between De Hollandse Koopmansbank and SNS Bank. As a manager of union funds, De Hollandse Koopmansbank had a long history in responsible investment. Thanks in part to this vast experience, SNS Asset Management enjoys a leading position in responsible institutional asset management.
